    Wanneer u - geheel of gedeeltelijk - werkloos wordt, kunt u het verlies aan inkomen voor een bepaalde periode opvangen met een WW-uitkering. Deze uitkering fungeert als een brug tussen twee banen. Er zijn wel voorwaarden aan verbonden. Zo moet u beschikbaar zijn voor werk. Verder is het belangrijk hoe lang u gewerkt heeft. Om een WW-uitkering aan te kunnen vragen, moet u zich als werkzoekende inschrijven bij het Centrum voor Werk en Inkomen (CWI). In 2006 is er veel veranderd in de WW (in dutch)
